    Requirements for New ITI
    Land Requirements for New ITI
    • Land requirement for ITI with minimum 4 trades and minimum 8 units is 4291.4 SQM i.e. Approx 1.07 acres.
    • Land requirement for ITI with minimum 6 trades and minimum 18 units is 6802.4 SQM i.e. Approx 1.70 acres.
    • Land can be own / lease/ rented.
    • Land Area shall be in one contiguous plot.
    Building Requirements for New ITI
    • Trade : Minimum 4 Trades
    • Units : Minimum 8 Units ( in 2 shifts) or Minimum 12 Units ( in 3 shifts)
    • Class Room : 25 SQM /Class/Unit/Shift. Class room must be rectangular in shape. Class room must not be less than 3m.
    • IT Lab : 25 SQM (Up to 5 units/shift). IT room must be rectangular in shape. IT room must not be less than 3m.
    • Workshop : Workshop size Depends on Trades and no of units/trade. Workshop must be rectangular in shape and must not be less than 5m.
    • Drawing Hall : 50 SQM (Up to 8 units/shift)
    • Principal Room : 20 SQM (Up to 8 units/shift)
    • Staff Room : 20 SQM (Up to 8 units/shift)
    • Placement Room : 20 SQM (Up to 8 units/shift)
    • Reception : 40 SQM (Up to 8 units/shift)
    • Library : 40 SQM (Up to 8 units/shift)
    • Canteen : 110 SQM
    • Storage Room : 90 SQM

    The eligible Organizations / Establishments should obtain Essentiality Certificate / No objection Certificate from the concerned State Government where the ANM School of Nursing is sought to be established.

    The School of Nursing should have a separate building/teaching block.

    Teaching Block constructed area of the ANM School should be 10060 square feet.

    Hostal Block constructed area of the ANM School should be 15625 square feet.

    The eligible Organizations / Establishments should obtain Essentiality Certificate / No objection Certificate from the concerned State Government where the GNM School of Nursing is sought to be established.

    The School of GNM should have a separate building/teaching block.

    Hostal Block constructed area of the GNM School should be 17500 square feet.
